Eligibility Criteria
- 📘 Education: 10+2 / Intermediate Pass

Physical Standards
For Men:
- Height: 163 cm
- Chest: 84 cm (normal) + 5 cm expansion
For Women:
- Height: 150 cm
- Chest: 79 cm (normal) + 5 cm expansion
Selection Process
- Written Examination (Objective Type)
- Walking Test – 25 km (Men) / 16 km (Women) in 4 hours
- Medical Examination

Exam Pattern
- Paper I: General Knowledge – 100 Questions (100 Marks)
- Paper II: General Science & Environment – 100 Questions (100 Marks)
- Duration: 150 minutes per paper
- Negative Marking: 1/3 per wrong answer
Salary
- 🌲 FBO: ₹21,230 – ₹63,010
- 🌿 ABO: ₹16,400 – ₹49,870

Job Role
Forest officers are responsible for patrolling forest areas, preventing illegal logging and wildlife crimes, and supporting conservation and afforestation activities under the AP Forest Department.
