Candidates must have passed Matriculation / 10th (or equivalent) from a recognized board/institution by the last date of submission of application.

- OBC / EBC / Extremely Backward & Backward categories and General (Female): upper age varies up to 40 years (as specified).
- SC/ST (both sexes): up to 42 years.
