Educational Qualifications (Essential)

1. A Bachelor’s Degree in the concerned subject (e.g., Mathematics) with at least 50% marks from a recognized University/Institute (the concerned subject should have been studied for at least two years);
2. OR Master’s Degree in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in either Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree;
3. OR 4-year integrated programme/degree of B.El.Ed. / B.Sc.B.Ed. / B.A.B.Ed from any NCTE recognized institution (the concerned subject should have been studied for at least three years).

In addition, B.Ed or three-year integrated B.Ed-M.Ed from a recognized University/Institute is required. Note that separate B.Ed is not required in case of 4-year integrated courses such as B.El.Ed./B.Sc.B.Ed./B.A.B.Ed.

Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET): Pass in CTET conducted by CBSE is mandatory.

• Candidates applying for TGT (Mathematics) must have studied Mathematics as a subject at the prescribed level.
• Qualifications may be relaxed at the discretion of DSSSB / Competent Authority in cases supported by adequate reasons and recorded in writing.
• Only qualifications from recognized Universities/Institutes will be considered.
