Eligibility & Pay
Educational Qualifications (Essential)
- Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (recognized board).
- OR Senior Secondary with 45% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education as per NCTE (2002).
- OR Senior Secondary with 50% marks and 4-year B.El.Ed.
- OR Senior Secondary with 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
Age Limit
Not exceeding 30 years. Relaxation as per rules. Contractual employees of the same department may get a one-time upper age relaxation up to actual time spent (max 5 years) subject to conditions.
Pay Scale
₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400 (Pay Level – 6)
Group: B (GCS, Non-Ministerial, Non-Gazetted)
Examination Scheme
DSSSB will conduct a One Tier (Technical/Teaching) exam for the post. Details:

Syllabus (Overview)
- Section A (100 marks): General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, Arithmetical & Numerical Ability, English Language & Comprehension, Hindi Language & Comprehension (20 marks each — 100 questions).
- Section B (100 marks): NCTE curriculum including teaching methodology (100 questions).

How to Apply
- Register once on DSSSB Online Portal. Use the same User ID & Password for future DSSSB applications.
- Apply online between 17 Sep 2025 (12:00 Noon) and 16 Oct 2025 (11:59 PM). The link will be disabled after the last date.
- Multiple registrations are prohibited. If detected, candidature will be cancelled and the candidate will be debarred.
- Keep scanned documents ready and upload as required. Verify all details before final submission.
Preparation Tips
- Understand the exam pattern and divide time between Section A and Section B.
- Thoroughly revise NCTE curriculum & pedagogy.
- Solve previous year papers and take timed mock tests.
- Keep current affairs updated for the General Awareness section.
