AIIMS NORCET 9 Nursing Officer Recruitment 2025
The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi has released the official notification for the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET)-9. This recruitment drive is being conducted for the post of Nursing Officer in Level 7 of the Pay Matrix (pre-revised Pay Band-2 of Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade Pay of Rs. 4600/-) across AIIMS New Delhi and various other AIIMS institutions across the country.

Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualification
Candidate must possess one of the following qualifications:
- B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council/state Nursing council recognized Institute/University
OR
B.Sc. (Post-Certificate) / Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council/state Nursing council recognized Institute/University
AND
Registered as Nurses & Midwife with State / Indian Nursing Council - Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) from an Indian Nursing Council/state Nursing council recognized Institute / Board or Council
AND
Registered as Nurses & Midwife in State / Indian Nursing Council
AND
Two years’ experience in a minimum 50 bedded hospital after obtaining the essential qualification
Note: The two-year experience (for GNM candidates) must be acquired after the completion of essential qualification, declaration of results, and registration with the State/Indian Nursing Council.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 30 Years
- Age will be calculated on: The last date of closing of application form
- Relaxation: As per rules applicable to AIIMS/central government norms
Application Fees
- General/OBC Candidates: ā¹3000/-
- SC/ST/EWS Candidates: ā¹2400/-
- Persons with Disabilities (PwD): Exempted
The application fee must be paid online through Debit Card or Net Banking. Transaction charges may apply. Once paid, the application fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.
Special Note for SC/ST: The application fee will be refunded to SC/ST candidates who appear in the exam and submit a valid caste certificate during document verification.

- Stage I: NORCET Preliminary Exam
- Stage II: NORCET Mains Exam

- Pay the application fee through the preferred online payment method.
- Submit the application form and take a printout for future reference.
Important Instructions
- Ensure your eligibility before applying online.
- Incomplete or incorrect applications will be rejected without any notice.
- Application fee once paid will not be refunded unless eligible for refund under SC/ST conditions mentioned.
